The results of the AMBEC project were presented at the ASME Turbo Expo 2020 Turbomachinery Technical Conference and Exposition GT2020.

The article “Study on accuracy of heat transfer coefficient determination in the Bearing chamber for gas turbine engine”, showcasing the project results on the development of the advanced modelling methodology for fluid distribution and heat transfer coefficients in different zones of real bearing chamber, was jointly prepared by 2 project partners: National Aerospace University KhAI and Ivchenko-Progress SE. The presentation at the Conference’s Joint Session “Heat Transfer, Thermal Management Systems, and Aero-Engine Oil Systems” was made by Dr. Taras Mykhailenko from KhAI, who is a technical leader of the AMBEC project.
