AMBEC at
EASN Conference 2021

The results of the AMBEC project were presented at the 11th EASN Virtual International Conference on Innovation in Aviation & Space to the Satisfaction of European Citizens.

The presentation “Specific aspects in Numerical Simulation of Complex Processes in Gas Turbine Engine Bearing Chamber”, showcasing the project results on the development of the advanced modelling methodology for fluid distribution and heat transfer coefficients in different zones of real bearing chamber, was prepared by project partner National Aerospace University KhAI. The presentation at the EAST Virtual conference was made by Dr. Taras Mykhailenko from KhAI, who is a technical leader of the AMBEC project.

The event took place virtually on September 1st – 3rd, 2021. This major European aerospace science conference gathered online 422 participants. In total 377 technical presentation were made at 69 virtual sessions.
